Students will have to wait till Monday
Will the NEET-UG exam be cancelled or not? Even after a long debate in the Supreme Court today, 23 lakh medical students are still waiting for the answer to this question. In the hearing, the minimum number of applicants, IIT Madras report, when and how the paper was rigged, how many solvers were caught, demand for re-examination and the entire timeline of paper rigging were discussed. Now the candidates will have to wait for the hearing on the NEET controversy on Monday.
The court sought a reply from NTA
The Supreme Court asked NTA how many of the 23.33 lakh students changed their exam centre? To this, NTA replied that students have changed the centre in the name of correction. 15,000 students used the correction window. However, NTA told the Supreme Court that students can only change the city and no student can choose the centre. The centre is selected through the allocation system. The centre allotment takes place two days before the exam, so no one knows which centre the students will get.
