Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio has increased the prices of all prepaid and postpaid plans. Tariff rates have been increased by up to 25 percent from July 3. Telecom companies have discontinued their old plans and are now introducing new plans for users. Reliance Jio, which has the highest number of users, has introduced three new 'True Unlimited Upgrade' add-on plans a few days ago. It offers unlimited 5G data and more. Let's know in detail…
Many plans were abandoned
This comes after people complained that the company has discontinued some of the most popular and affordable plans for prepaid recharge users. The three new prepaid plans can be used along with the existing plans.
3 new schemes launched
The new plans are called 'True Unlimited Upgrade Plans' and they include Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151. All of them come with unlimited 5G data and additional 4G data. The Rs 51 plan includes 3GB of 4G data. The Rs 101 plan includes 6GB of 4G data and the Rs 151 plan offers 9GB of 4G data.
Let us tell you, this unlimited 5G data will be available only on Jio True 5G network and your mobile phone should run on 5G. If the network goes to 4G, then only limited data will be available in these plans. These new plans have been made keeping in mind those plans in which daily data is less than 1.5GB. This is because if their plan gives 2GB or more daily data, then Jio users already get unlimited 5G data.
