Many reputed schools of Noida have not taken admissions under RTE. Due to which their recognition is now in danger. Gautam Buddha Nagar District Administration is going to take strict action against 12 reputed schools of Noida. For which the District Magistrate has formed a three-member committee.
Noida Schools: The recognition of 12 private schools in NCR who refused to give admission under the Right to Education Act may be cancelled. The District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar has formed a committee and ordered action to cancel the recognition of such schools. If the committee submits a report against the schools facing charges of violating RTE, then their recognition may be cancelled.
According to the report, Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar had informed Gautam Buddha Nagar District DM Manish Kumar Verma about the schools not taking admission under RTE. After which the DM has ordered to form a committee to cancel the recognition. There are also instructions to send the committee's report to the government. This committee has been formed under the chairmanship of SDM Ved Prakash Pandey. Which includes District Disabled Officer Ashish Kumar and Kumari Mayawati Inter College Principal Chhabi Singh. The committee has sent a notice to the schools.
A sword hangs over these schools
The schools which are facing the threat of losing their recognition include Bal Bharati Public School, The Millennium School, Ramagya School, Raghav Global School, Shiv Nadar School, Fortune World School, Army Public School and Darbari Lal Foundation School in Noida, Delhi Public School, Oxford Green Public School and Sanskar Roza Jalalpur in Greater Noida.
Admission of only 2500 children
The schools in Noida and Greater Noida to which the Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has sent notices have not taken a single admission under RTE even after four months. Under RTE, admissions are to be made on 5061 seats in private schools of Noida. But even after four phases, only 25,00 students have been able to get admission.
