Earlier on Tuesday, July 16, the market had made an all-time high level. During trading, the Sensex touched a high of 80,898 and the Nifty touched a high of 24,661. After this, the market declined slightly and the Sensex closed 51 points higher at 80,716. Nifty also saw a jump of 26 points. It closed at 24,613. Yesterday, i.e. Wednesday, the stock market was closed due to Muharram holiday.
