Free health checkup camp organized in CUJ

Jammu, July 17 (HS). The Health Centre of Central University of Jammu in collaboration with MMM Hospital, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu organized a free medical camp for the benefit of students, scholars and staff of the university. Dr. Neeraj Mahajan, cardiologist, Dr. Shaili Kandhari, ophthalmologist and Dr. Keshav Giri, physician, dietician and physiotherapist of MMM Hospital participated in the camp and were supported by paramedical staff. During the camp, 176 patients were given free medical consultation as well as medicines.

Dr. Harpreet Singh, Senior Medical Officer, Central University of Jammu thanked the team of MMM Hospital, Jammu for making the medical camp a success. He welcomed the team of Dr. Neeraj Mahajan and thanked them for this noble deed. The team of MMM Hospital was honored by presenting a memento.

The camp prioritised the diagnosis of prevalent health issues such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Dr Neeraj also took the initiative to educate the participants about the importance of regular physical profiling and adopting healthy dietary habits to effectively manage weight and blood sugar levels.
