Jind, July 17 (HS). City Thana Narwana Police has registered a case under various sections including cheating, resorting to fake documents against three people including daughter-in-law for usurping the property of former minister and former MP by preparing a fake will. Police is investigating the case.
Major General Anil Chaudhary, son of late Indra Singh, who was a minister in the Pepsu government and a former MP, and his brother Satyarup Singh told the police in their complaint that their father late Indra Singh was a minister in the Pepsu government in 1952 and also an MP in 1977. He had property in Narwana and other places. He did not make any will of his movable and immovable property during his lifetime. After his death on 26 November 2000, his property was equally divided among his heirs. His father Indra Singh has a 1551 square yard house in Narwana.
In which everyone has an equal share. In January 2022, all the six heirs filed a partition petition. On which heir Rajbala submitted a reply claim on May 8, 2023. In which there was no mention of the will. On March 4, Rajbala claimed in the court that on February 15, 2000, her late father-in-law Indra Singh had bequeathed his land in her name. The will presented in the claim has been registered on January 16, 2023. Whereas her father Indra Singh had died in the year 2000. Fake signatures have been made on the will. Forgery has been resorted to to grab the land. On Wednesday, City Police Station Investigating Officer Anil Kumar said that on the complaint of Major General Anil Chaudhary, the police have registered a case against Rajbala, resident of Patel Nagar, Maha Singh, resident of village Tarkhan, Satbir, resident of village Mangalpur under various sections including fraud, resorting to fake documents and started investigation.
