Farmers Protest Update: The deadline of the High Court order to open the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana is ending today. The government has not yet taken any initiative to open the border. The Haryana government has approached the Supreme Court against the High Court order.

At the same time, after the High Court order, the farmers who have been adamant since February have announced to march to Delhi. Jagjit Singh Dallewal, a non-political member of the United Kisan Morcha, said that as soon as we open the Shambhu border, they will march towards Delhi. A decision has also been taken to take out a tractor march on August 15. This tractor march will be taken out across the country.

Today the siege of Ambala SP office was averted

Navdeep Jalbera, famous as water cannon boy during the farmers' movement, has got regular bail from the Punjab-Haryana High Court. Farmer leaders have postponed their decision to gherao the Ambala SP office on Wednesday.

Dallewal said that we have ration for six months. He has appealed to the central government to allow us to protest peacefully at Jantar Mantar or Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. If the government tries to stop us anywhere on the way, we will start a protest there. The responsibility for this will be entirely of the government.

Dallewal said that we will do this march by tractor trolley because trolley is the only option we have to avoid rain, heat and cold. He said that we are not demanding anything from the central government, but we are protesting to fulfill the promises made by the government. He alleged that the government is not ready to open the border. If the Haryana government does not open the road, then the traders should also support the farmers and protest against the BJP. The 300 meter border area is towards Punjab, so the order to open the border is also of the Punjab government.

It is not appropriate to hand over the investigation to Haryana Police officials

Dallewal said that efforts are being made to mislead Haryana on the issue of Shubhkaran's death by bullet. Haryana Police is also using shotgun. Efforts are being made to save the accused in the entire case. It is not appropriate to hand over the investigation of Shubhkaran's murder to Haryana Police officials, because the allegations are on the Haryana Police officials themselves. If the accused are investigated, there is little hope of getting justice. The Haryana government has already gone to the Supreme Court opposing the independent investigation of Shubhkaran's murder, which makes their intention clear, so we cannot trust Haryana Police on the issue of investigation.

This conference will be held in Delhi on 22 July

The joint conference of Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha will be held in New Delhi on 22 July. Both the fronts have written letters to all the opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and met them and have demanded to bring a private bill on all the demands of the farmers including MSP guarantee in the next session of Parliament. In the coming days, the officials of both the fronts will go door-to-door in Haryana to make farmers and laborers aware. On September 15, a national level Kisan Mahapanchayat will be organized in Haryana, in which lakhs of farmers will participate.

Section 163 implemented in Ambala

Ambala District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shalin has implemented Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code in the district. Under these orders, gathering of five or more people will be prohibited. Crowds will not be allowed to gather within 200 meters of the SP office. These orders will be in force from July 17 for the next two months.
