Heartfelt tribute to late mother
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Tuesday paid an emotional tribute to his late mother. Jadeja has shared a sketch on his Instagram. In which he is seen standing with his mother holding the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy. Jadeja shared the picture and wrote- “Whatever I am doing on the field… it is a tribute to you.”
Jadeja's mother died when he was 17 years old
Ravindra Jadeja's mother passed away in 2005 when he was just 17 years old. During this time he became a part of India's Under-19 team. It is worth noting that Jadeja made his debut for India in 2009. He has scored 515 runs in 74 T20Is for India at an average of 21.45. Apart from this, he has taken 54 wickets at an economy of 7.13. However, all three star players will be seen playing Tests and ODIs after retiring from T20 Internationals.
