Material

  • One cup green moong dal
  • Two tomatoes finely chopped
  • One teaspoon ginger paste
  • Desi Ghee
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • Asafoetida
  • coriander powder
  • green chillies finely chopped
  • turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chole masala
  • Amchur Powder
  • chilli powder
  • Hot spices

recipe

  • – First of all wash the moong thoroughly and soak it for half an hour.
  • – Then cook in the cooker until one whistle comes. Add salt and turmeric while cooking.
  • Then de-air it so that it doesn't overcook.
  • – Now put desi ghee in a pan and fry cumin seeds.
  • Add asafoetida and ginger paste along with cumin seeds. – Fry on low flame and add finely chopped tomatoes to it.
  • – Cook the tomatoes and add spices to it. Add salt, dry mango powder, coriander powder and then add green gram.
  • Stir well and turn off the gas flame. Mango curry is ready.
  • It can also be served with roti or paratha.
