The initiative is aimed at ensuring that the public can avail full benefits of various welfare and developmental schemes. Former MLA and BJP leader Faqir Mohammad Khan drew attention to the alleged embezzlement in the Gramin Bank and urged that the hard-earned money of the people be returned respectfully. Khan also demanded an audit of all centrally sponsored schemes in the area which amounts to theft of public money. Additionally, he requested to increase the rice quota given by the CAPD from 5 to 10 kg per person.
