Ranchi, July 16 (HS). A delegation of Yuva Ajsu met Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Tuesday and submitted an eight-point memorandum to take necessary action on various issues related to the youth. The delegation drew the attention of the Governor towards many problems including increasing migration due to unemployment, filling three lakh vacant posts, increasing drug business, rigging in examinations, etc.
Through the memorandum, Yuva AJSU demanded that apart from Ona Bar and Restaurant operating in the building adjacent to the ancient Shiv Mandir complex in AG Colony, Kadru, Ranchi, all the bars and liquor shops operating near religious places and schools should be investigated and closed. Apart from this, a high-level investigation was also demanded to provide justice to the youth of the state in the case of rigging in the PGT recruitment examination.
The office bearers of Yuva Ajsu said that the youth are the future of the state. Only empowered youth can fulfill the vision of a better state but at present the youth of the state are facing educational, employment and social problems. The state government has turned its back on their problems and needs. The youth are ruining their future in the grip of the growing drug business. The youth are on the streets for their rights. The government should take strict action against those who are playing with the future and time of the youth.
The delegation included Youth AJSU state convener Gautam Singh, Amit Kumar, Ranchi district in-charge Vishwas Oraon, Atish Mahato and youth leader Vedant Kaushal.
