Hyderabad Police has busted a major drug racket. Actress Rakul Preet Singh's brother Aman Preet Singh and 4 others were arrested by the police on Monday (July 15) in an alleged drug case. The Telangana Anti Narcotics Department busted the drug racket and also seized about 2.6 kg of cocaine brought to Hyderabad for sale.
According to media reports, the accused have been identified as Aman Preet Singh, Aniket Reddy, Prasad, Madhusudan and Nikhil Daman, who are currently in police custody and will be produced in court after medical examination. Police said that in the initial investigation, their dope test has come positive, but further investigation is yet to be done. Last year, the Enforcement Directorate had issued summons to Rakul Preet Singh in the drug smuggling and theft case.
The police held a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday to discuss the details of the case. They have confirmed that Aman has been arrested in a drug trafficking case. A total of five people were arrested in this case. Aman's name appeared in the list of 13 people who consumed drugs and tested positive. The police have confirmed that he will be produced in court soon.
