New Delhi: There is a big update for Citibank customers. From today, Citibank credit cards have been merged with Axis Bank credit cards. Axis Bank said in a statement that from July 15, 2024, Citibank credit card customers can start using their new Axis Bank cards on their existing Citi-branded cards. The bank further said that customers will get this facility for the next few months until the Axis Bank card is made available to the customers.
How to find Axis Bank customer ID?
If you are an existing Axis Bank customer, you have already been given a unique Axis Bank customer ID. After the migration, your entire Citi relationship will be mapped to your existing Axis Bank customer ID. If you are a Citibank customer, you will be informed about your new Axis Bank customer ID via SMS and e-mail using the registered contact details.
There will be no change in these things
There will be no change in the card PIN, card number, expiry date and CVV of the existing Citi card. Apart from this, the billing cycle, statement generation date and payment due date will also remain the same.
There is no change in the annual fee
Please note that there will be no change in the annual fee for Citi-branded cards after the migration. If your card currently has no annual fee, it will remain the same after the migration. However, there may be changes in fees and charges with the migration to Axis Bank. The bank will inform you in advance about any changes related to the annual fee.
ATM & Branch
Let us tell you that Citi Bank branches and ATMs will be re-branded as Axis Bank branches and ATMs. Although the bank's opening hours may change, ATMs and branches will remain at their old locations.
