The Punjab-Haryana High Court has given a big relief to actress Shehnaaz Gill by refusing to interfere in the order of the lower court. It was said in the contract that Shehnaaz Gill cannot be forced to sing for just one company. This contract was signed by Shehnaaz Gill before going to Bigg Boss in 2019.

Shehnaaz Gill's contract with Simran Music Company was made in a hurry. In which there was a condition that she would not be allowed to sing for any other company. Justice Gurbir Singh said during the hearing that the company is at the top in the music industry due to its goodwill and reputation. While the other party, who was an aspiring singer, was dreaming of making her place in the music industry. To fulfill her dreams, she accepted the legitimate conditions written in the agreement. In the present case, the terms of the contract are unfair.
Actually in 2019, Shehnaaz Gill had signed an agreement with the music company. In which it was written that she would not work for any other company. Shehnaaz Gill had argued that two days before entering the Bigg Boss house, the company had requested to sign an agreement to work together in the future.
On the repeated insistence of the company, Shehnaaz Gill hurriedly signed it and went to the Bigg Boss house. After the show ended, she started getting many offers. She came to know that the said company was sending an e-mail to a third party, claiming that as per the agreement dated 25.09.2019, Shehnaaz Gill is their exclusive artist and she is not allowed by their company to use other people's music and cannot appear in the video. After which the matter reached the court.
