Re-examination of 10th, 12th class will start from today in the state

Mumbai: The state board re-examination for class 10th, 12th is starting from Tuesday, July 16. There has been a huge drop in the registration of students appearing for the re-examination this year as compared to last year.

The 9 divisional boards of the state board will conduct the Class 10 supplementary exams from July 16 to July 30 and Class 12 exams from July 16 to August 8. Only the timetable published by the state board and given on its website will be valid for the exams.

This year 28,976 students have registered for class 10. This includes 20,370 boys, 6,605 female students, one tertiary student. While 56,845 students have registered for class 12. This includes 36,590 boys, 20,250 girls and five tertiary schools. Last year, 49,468 students had registered for class 10 and 70,462 for class 12 in the re-examination.

Students have to reach the exam center at 10.30 am for the morning session and at 2.30 pm for the afternoon session exam. Then the question paper will be distributed at 11.30 am and 3 pm according to the session. As per February-March, 2024, 10 minutes have also been increased for this exam.
