Rain in Gujarat: There is cloud cover in the entire state and while this is giving relief to people from the scorching heat, on the other hand, there is an atmosphere of happiness among the farmers as well. A total of 158 talukas in the state have received rain. The heaviest rainfall has been recorded in Umarpada of Surat district, where more than 14 inches of rain has fallen.

The maximum rainfall has occurred in South Gujarat. Apart from this, Netrang in Bharuch received 7.5 inches of rain, Garudeshwar-Nandod received 5.5 inches of rain. Along with this, 4 talukas received more than 4 inches of rain and 5 talukas received more than 2 inches of rain and 29 talukas received more than one inch of rain and 117 talukas received one inch more than normal rain.
Ahmedabad also received around one inch of rain amid heavy heat and Bafara conditions
Ahmedabad also received rain this afternoon and many areas of the city were waterlogged. Hatkeshwar, Amraiwadi, Odhav, the iconic road from the airport to Indira Bridge were flooded again.
