Bhopal, July 15 (HS). Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), a small effort that started once from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, would become so big that it would become the largest labour organisation not only in India but in the world, perhaps even the people who started the organisation would not have imagined this, but this is the current reality. Today, there are more than six and a half thousand labour unions and other organisations under the umbrella of BMS. In such a situation, this organisation is going to celebrate its 70th foundation day at the place where it started.

In this regard, State President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) Sanjay Singh said that the organization is celebrating its 70th foundation day on 23 July. The main program will be held in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Many other events will also be held in it. He said that a series of meetings are also going on regarding the program. The main event is to be held at Ravindra Bhavan from 3:30 pm. This program, which will be chaired by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh President Hiranmay Pandya, will be inaugurated by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale.

Sanjay Singh said that this largest labour organisation of India was started in Bhopal on 23 July 1955 from Sirojia Agrawal Panchayat Bhawan, which people know today as Agrawal Dharamshala. The birthday of renowned freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak was chosen by the great thinker Dattopant Thengadi for its establishment, so when this organisation was established on 23 July, the main players at that time were Dattopant Thengadi along with Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Kushabhau Thakre, Manakchandra Choubey and some other people.

He said that unlike other labour organisations in India, it was not formed due to the division of any organisation but was the result of the combined efforts of people with an India-centric ideology. Along with him, senior workers like Babulal Gaur, Ramprasad Pehelwan, who were involved in the management of the organisation, took the initiative to take it forward.

Along with this, BMS State General Secretary Kuldeep Singh Gurjar said that all the central office bearers of BMS will be present in the main program being organized in Bhopal. Along with this, all the members of the central extended working committee will be present. Organization office bearers of all the districts of Madhya Pradesh are coming to Bhopal to participate in this event. At the same time, our old workers, due to whom this organization has become a banyan tree today, have also been invited.

Gurjar said that on this occasion a grand rally will be taken out in the form of Shobha Yatra, which will start from Thengdi Bhawan and will go through Depot Square, Jawahar Chowk to Roshanpura, and then from there to the venue Ravindra Bhawan. In which mainly the 70 years of glory of the organization will be mentioned. Preparations for this are going on in full swing by BMS.
