Road accident near Anand in Gujarat, six killed, eight injured

Anand, July 15 (HS). Six people were killed and eight injured in a road accident near Anand in Gujarat this morning. The condition of some of these injured is critical. The death toll is expected to increase.

This accident happened at Chikhodra near Anand on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Express Highway. A truck lost control after a sudden tyre burst and collided with a luxury bus parked on the side of the road. Due to this collision, the bus overturned on the passengers sitting on the divider. Six passengers were crushed by it. Three of them died on the spot while three others died in the hospital.
