Ranchi, July 15 (HS). The court of Special Judge of PMLA Court Rajiv Ranjan on Monday rejected the bail plea of Kolkata Registrar of Assurance Office's watchman Sanjit Kumar, who is in jail in the land scam case.
Earlier, after hearing both the parties on July 3, the court had reserved the order. Sanjit Kumar had filed a petition on June 12 pleading for bail. The ED had arrested him on May 9 in connection with the 8.86 acre land scam of Bargai region related to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He has been in jail since then.
