One accused of incest on the pretext of marriage arrested

Jagdalpur, July 15 (HS). A young man raped a girl living in Bhanpuri police station area of ​​the district without her consent by luring her with the promise of marriage. After getting information about this from the victim, the family members lodged a complaint with the police. On the complaint, the police arrested the accused Bisahu Ram alias Vishal Matlam resident Kotholi on Monday.

According to the information received from Bhanpuri police, on registering the missing of the victim in the police station, Bhanpuri police traced the address of the victim and recovered the girl from the custody of the accused. On interrogation, the victim told that the accused Bisahu Ram alias Vishal Matlam resident Kotholi had abducted the victim by threatening her on the pretext of marriage and forcibly raped her against the will of the victim. Police have registered a case against the arrested accused in Bhanpuri police station and sent him on remand after taking action.
