Fatehabad, July 15 (HS). On the call of Haryana Civil Medical Service Association, the doctors of Fatehabad Civil Hospital also went on strike for two hours on Monday regarding their demands. The doctors went on strike from 9 am to 11 am. During this, the doctors gathered and expressed anger against the government.
Doctors said that if the government does not accept their demands, they will go on indefinite strike after 25th July. Patients who came to the government hospital had to face a lot of problems due to the OPD being closed for two hours. People waiting for doctors looked distressed due to the humidity. Let us tell you that when the OPD opened on Monday due to Sunday being a holiday, the number of patients was also high. When patients went to the OPD for treatment, doctors were not available.
Due to this, they had to sit and wait for the patients. Pradhan Bharat Saharan said that a strike had been held earlier also regarding the demands. During this, the then Health Minister Anil Vij had assured that the government is considering their demands and they will be fulfilled soon but nothing like this has happened till now. Due to this, they are forced to go on strike, the government is responsible for this. Their demand from the government is that there is a huge shortage of specialists in government hospitals, a separate cadre of specialists should be created. The amount of PG bond should be reduced.
