Dhamtari, July 15 (HS). In view of the intermittent rainfall in the district at present, collector Namrata Gandhi today directed the officials of water resources, revenue, agriculture and related departments in the time limit meeting to make a detailed action plan so that farmers do not face any problem in Kharif crop. Collector Namrata Gandhi held a weekly time limit meeting on July 15 and reviewed the rainfall in the district and its advance preparations by the departments and asked the officials to ensure proper arrangements for the coming days. Instructions were also given to provide seeds to farmers on time for cultivation of other options besides paddy i.e. pulses, oilseeds and millets.
He also directed the officials to do fogging every week in urban and rural areas to prevent dengue, malaria and diseases caused during rain. Along with this, he asked to prepare an action plan by collecting information about areas where drinking water is not available during rain and where there is excessive waterlogging. Also, he instructed the Sub Divisional Revenue Officer to monitor it continuously. He took information about the rain water harvesting system made in the urban area and asked to complete the incomplete work as soon as possible. Along with this, the collector also took information about the capture of cattle in the meeting. Additional Collector GR Markam, Sub Divisional Revenue Officer Dhamtari Dr Vibhor Agarwal and other district level officers were present in the meeting.
If a child is not coming to school, find out the reasons and bring him to school
In the meeting, the collector asked the mentor appointed to monitor the schools under the Right to Education to ensure that if any child is not enrolling, then find out the reasons for it and bring the children to school. For this, talk to the parents and children and inform if any kind of problem arises. He said that the solution of small problems of Panchayat and Urban Body should be ensured at the local level. For this, the Health, Women and Child Development and Education Department should be alert. If children suffering from dengue, malaria, diarrhea are found in any hostel, Anganwadi, school, then immediately organize a camp and check all the children. While distributing Zinc and ORS medicines in rural areas, ensure distribution in the state ratio.
Resolve disputed cases through campaigns
In the meeting, the collector directed to ensure undisputed/disputed transfer, partition, demarcation, map, partition, diversion, land acquisition, action on houses built without diversion, fogging, condition of Anganwadi, checking of shops in Haat-Bazar. For this, he asked to run a campaign in urban and rural areas. Apart from this, the collector took information about caste certificate, Kisan Credit Card, seed, fertilizer distribution, mental health program in the meeting. Also, in the meeting, departmental cases of Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Public Works, Health, Education, Tribal Development, Electricity, CREDA, Social Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, RES, Forest, Women and Child Development Department and other departments were reviewed one by one and necessary instructions were given to the officers.
