INSO protested against non-receipt of admit cards for students' entrance exams – News India Live

Rohtak, July 15 (HS). A large number of students protested at the MDU secretariat under the leadership of INSO student leader Deepak Malik. When no MDU official came to listen to the students, student leader Deepak Malik entered the meeting of the officials along with all the students shouting slogans.

MDU Registrar and MDU Dean Academic Affairs had to come out and listen to the students. Student leader Deepak Malik said that the admission process for post graduation courses is going on in MDU, admissions to post graduate courses in MDU are done on the basis of entrance exam. Due to flaws in the system, hundreds of students were deprived of taking the entrance exam. INSO leader Deepak Malik said that due to flaws in MDU, the admit cards of students who were preparing for the entrance exam for one year could not be issued, due to which the students were deprived of taking the entrance exam and admission is not possible without giving the entrance exam; admit cards of students were not issued in many courses. INSO student leader Deepak Malik said that a very unfortunate wrong has happened mainly with the students who wanted to do MBA.

The students who wanted to take admission in MDU IMSAR department went to fill the form, but later they were told that they have filled the form of Gurugram campus, due to which the MBA course in Gurugram campus is conducted on the basis of merit without any entrance exam, and hundreds of students were deprived of taking admission. Deepak Malik placed a written demand in front of MDU administration that all those students should also be given admission, who filled the wrong form due to the shortcomings of MDU, a middle path should be found for them also. After a long uproar and when INSO workers entered the meeting, MDU Registrar Gulshan Taneja and MDU Minister of Academic Affairs came out and listened to the students.
