It is very common for the kitchen sink to get clogged. This is because while cleaning utensils, garbage starts accumulating in them. Therefore, it is advisable to wash utensils separately. But if you repeat this error again and again, then the sink gets clogged. Although, you can call a plumber to clean the drainage, but if you are looking for a solution then these methods can work for you.
Boiling water
If the sink drain is blocked, it doesn't take much effort to unclog it. Just boil a pot of water and pour it into the sink. After a while, the water will start flowing out of the sink.
Baking soda and
Vinegar A mixture of baking soda and vinegar can prove to be an effective home remedy to clean sink drainage. For this, pour half a cup of baking soda into the drain. After this, add one cup of vinegar. Doing this will cause a chemical reaction due to which the garbage will start dissolving in the drain. Then after 15 minutes, wash the sink with hot water.
Use plumbing
There is another easy way to remove trapped plumbing debris. First, fill the sink with enough hot water so that the rubber part of the plumbing is submerged in it. Then, push the plumbing up and down. This will help remove the trapped material.
Wire use
If the above methods don't work, you can also try clearing the drain with the help of a thin wire. Slowly insert the wire into the sink and twist it to remove any blockage. Be careful not to pull the wire into the sink.
