New Delhi: Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has vacated her government bungalow located at 28 Tughlaq Crescent Road, Lutyens, Delhi. According to the rules, government bungalows given to former ministers and former MPs have to be vacated within a month of the formation of the new government.
According to this, Smriti, who lost the Amethi seat by 1.5 lakh votes to Congress's Kishori Lal Sharma, has left the bungalow. Smriti Irani, who won the Amethi seat by defeating Rahul Gandhi in 2019, was the Minister of Women and Child Welfare.

New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has asked the public to stop speaking ill about Smriti Irani or any other leader.
After losing in Amethi, Irani vacated her government bungalow in Delhi on Thursday. Later, Lavru criticized Irani on social media.
Rahul tweeted about this on Friday, 'Victory and defeat are an integral part of life. It is wrong to speak ill about Smriti Irani or any other leader and misbehave with them. So I appeal to the public to stop this behavior here.'
