Jodhpur, July 13 (HS). The ongoing protest against the newly built Constitution Park in Jai Narayan Vyas University (JNV) is not stopping. Earlier, protests were going on here regarding some shortcomings. Now a controversy has arisen over not installing the statue of Constitution maker Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) protested against this by holding a protest on Saturday. A large number of workers participated in the protest.
ABVP workers said that Constitution Park has been built in Jai Narayan Vyas University in which statues and pictures of leaders from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Congress leaders of that time have been installed, but the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, who made the Constitution, has not been installed. This is an insult to Baba Saheb, the maker of the Constitution. Therefore, the university administration should install Baba Saheb's statue here.
A demonstration was held on Saturday for this demand. During the demonstration, ABVP workers also raised slogans. The workers went to meet the Vice Chancellor but he was not there. On this, the workers pasted a memorandum outside the gate of his office.
Let us tell you that Governor Kalraj Mishra had inaugurated the Samvidhan Park a day earlier on Friday. Due to the shortcomings in the Samvidhan Park, the Governor had once refused to inaugurate it. After this, these shortcomings were rectified. Later it was inaugurated, but now there is a protest over not installing the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
