Doctor accused of assault and threat to kill, case registered

Haridwar, July 13 (HS). A woman from Bahdarabad police station area has accused a doctor of assaulting her and threatening to kill her. On the court's order, a case has been registered against the accused doctor under relevant sections. The police is investigating the case.

While talking to journalists at a hotel situated on Haridwar Road, a woman resident of Bahadarabad police station area told that her son was unwell, due to which she went to Dr. Rakesh Saini's clinic at Dhanouri. According to the woman, Dr. Saini gave medicine to the child, but those medicines made her son's health worse. According to the woman, when she went to the doctor with this complaint, the doctor misbehaved with her and dragged her out of the shop by holding her hair. Along with this, he tore her clothes etc. It is alleged that the doctor also threatened to kill her.

When the woman reached Dhanori police station with a complaint, the police did not listen to her. The woman approached the court and demanded action in the case. On the court's order, a case has been registered in Kaliyar police station against the accused Dr. Rakesh Saini, resident of Bank Tiraha Dhanori, under relevant sections.

The woman said that the accused doctor does not have any degrees. The hospital of the accused has been sealed earlier also.
