Media and Entertainment Industry: The Government of India is promoting media and entertainment skills. In this connection, the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit has been organized in Goa in November this year. Hollywood's legendary directors James Cameron and Steven Spielberg will participate in this program. Through this, the government wants to increase the reach of the Indian media and entertainment industry to the global market.
Waves is being considered as an event similar to the prestigious World Economic Forum summit in Davos. It is organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Along with this, it can also be linked to the India International Film Festival. Preparations for this program have been started by the Government of India.
Content creation will become India
The main objective of WAVES is to establish India as a world content creation hub.
For this, the Ministry will demonstrate the development and use of cutting-edge technology in film production and post-production in its industry.

The WAVES event is going to start from November 21, which will last for four days. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate this grand event.
Besides, preparations are underway for a curtain-raiser event this Saturday in Delhi, with a meeting to be chaired by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, ambassadors of various countries and around 70 industry leaders will participate in the event.
All these stalwarts will discuss how to shape the summit so that it can be beneficial.
