In this connection, the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit has been organized in Goa in November this year. Waves is being considered as an event similar to the prestigious World Economic Forum summit in Davos. It is organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The WAVES event is going to start from November 21, which will last for four days. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate this grand event.
Besides, preparations are underway for a curtain-raiser event this Saturday in Delhi, with a meeting to be chaired by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, ambassadors of various countries and around 70 industry leaders will participate in the event.
