If you do not want to compromise on taste and also want to control your weight, then you can try some Indian dishes for breakfast. These dishes will give you ample nutrition and will also help in losing weight.

Losing weight seems to be the most difficult task because people have to compromise with taste first. Actually, eating junk food and food cooked in excess oil increases the problem of obesity, but these are not the only things in the name of taste, but there are many such dishes which are rich in nutrients along with taste and help in controlling weight. Morning meal i.e. breakfast is very important for those who want to lose weight. There are some desi i.e. Indian dishes which help in controlling obesity.

Make cheela from moong dal, soybean and oatmeal

People don't like to eat only Daliya or Moong Dal, so you can make Chilla from soybean. For this, soak the lentils at night and grind them in the morning. Mash the soaked Daliya and mix it in it. After this, either grind the soaked soybean in a mixer or take its soaked powder. If the binding is not right, then add some gram flour. Mix all these things by adding some basic spices and make Chilla by applying some olive oil on the pan. In this way, Chilla full of protein and other nutrients will be ready.

Coconut Chutney with Dosa

If you are losing weight then you can make dosa. Grind the lentils and rice soaked overnight and make a paste and make dosa from it in the morning. Make coconut chutney with it or you can eat it with green chutney. If you have time then you can also make sambhar. In this way a healthy and tasty breakfast will be ready.

Upma is a quick healthy breakfast

If you want to make something quick for breakfast, then upma is a good option. It is tasty as well as healthy. First of all, fry semolina in a little ghee or olive oil, as soon as the aroma starts coming, remove it from the pan. Now pour some oil in the pan and add mustard and curry leaves to it. Add chopped onion and tomato and fry, add a pinch of turmeric for color and cook it too. Cut two green chillies and add them and add salt as per taste. When the masala is ready, add roasted semolina to it and add hot water instead of cold water. This way the upma will become tasty and fluffy.

Ragi Idli

Although very little oil is used in idli, you can use ragi to make it even healthier. This will provide good nutrition to your entire body and will also help in weight loss. Ragi idli is also good for your digestion.
