PM Modi announced the names of astronauts, gave them astronaut wing

PM Modi South Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala today. During this he visited Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC). On this occasion, the PM reviewed the progress of the Gaganyaan mission and awarded Astronaut Wings to the nominated astronauts Group Captain Prashant Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla.

No Indian is going to space after 40 years

At the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, I want everyone to stand up and welcome our astronauts. By 2035, India will have its own space station in space which will help us explore the unknown expanses of space. During this Amrit Kaal, an Indian astronaut will land on the surface of the Moon using an Indian rocket. Some time ago the country got acquainted with 4 Gaganyaan passengers for the first time. These are not just 4 names or 4 people, these are the four powers which are going to take the aspirations of 140 crore Indians to space. After 40 years, an Indian is going to space, but this time the time is ours, the countdown is also ours and the rocket is also ours.
