Surat News: A 24-year-old promising student of Lalkudha community, a native of Mankana village of Kamaraj and currently studying business management in Canada, died by drowning in Lakeview (lake) in Canada, which led to mourning in the family and society. Jash's body will be brought to Ahmedabad by plane on Saturday, after which it will be handed over to the family.
Jash Jiten Patel, 24-year-old son of Jitenbhai Patel, a resident of Maninagar Palia, Mankana village of Kamrej, went to Canada two years ago on a student visa to study business management. Jash was given a work permit by the Canadian government to work 20 hours a week and was studying business management at Flamingo College in Peterborough, Canada along with a part-time job at Walmart.
On 1-7-2024, as it was a Canadian Day holiday in Canada, Jash Patel went for a walk with his room partner after coming from work in the evening. Meanwhile, Jash went to take a bath in a lake in Peterborough with his friends. Suddenly Jash fell into the water. By the time Jash Patel was rescued and taken out by the local administration after getting information about the entire incident, he had died.
The Indian Consulate in Toronto, Canada, held the necessary talks with Jash Patel's cousin Yatin Patel on behalf of Jash Patel's family. Jash Patel's body will reach Ahmedabad via air cargo at 3 am this Saturday. The family has been informed about this.
