Jaya Prada election code of conduct case : Famous film actress and former MP from Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh, Jaya Prada has finally been declared absconding by the court. In the Lok Sabha elections-2019, two code of conduct cases were registered against BJP candidate Jaya Prada in Rampur, which are pending in the MP-MLA Special Court (Magistrate Trial) of Rampur.

Did not appear despite non-bailable warrant seven times

According to reports, Jaya Paran has been ordered to appear in this case and despite repeated summons being sent by the court, she has not appeared. Later a warrant and then a non-bailable warrant was issued against him, although he did not appear in the court. The court has issued non-bailable warrant against Jaya Pravana seven times. After this, the Superintendent of Police of Rampur repeatedly wrote letters to Jaya Paran ordering her to appear, but she did not appear.

Order to find police and present them in court

Now on Tuesday, the court has adopted a strict stance and declared former MP Jaya Paran absconding. Furthermore, the court has registered a case against him under section 82 CrPC and directed the Superintendent of Police to form a team led by Deputy SP and produce him before the court on March 6, 2024.

Senior prosecution officer Amarnath Tiwari said, 'A case related to violation of code of conduct is pending against Jaya Prada in the Judicial Magistrate MP-MLA Court of Rampur. Despite repeated summons, he did not appear in the court. A non-bailable warrant was also issued against him, but he did not appear. In the report sent to the police station by inspector in-charge Ranji Dwivedi, it has been said that Jaya Prada is protecting herself and her mobile is switched off.
