Ranchi, July 12 (HS). Despite the summons of Enforcement Directorate (ED), land dealer Kamlesh Kumar did not reach the ED regional office on Friday. ED official sources said that ED has again issued summons to Kamlesh on July 19 and called him to the regional office for questioning.
Kamlesh is accused of making fake deeds of land related to CNT Act and government land. He forcibly occupied the land of innocent villagers at gunpoint and sold it. ED has also expressed doubts over the role of Kanke Zone in this land scam and is investigating the matter.
It is noteworthy that on 21 June, ED raided Kamlesh's hideouts. During this, one crore cash and 100 cartridges were recovered from his hideouts. A case was also registered against Kamlesh under the Arms Act in Ranchi's Kanke police station. In this case, ED sent summons to Kamlesh and called him for questioning on 28 June but he did not appear before ED. After this, ED has sent summons to Kamlesh Kumar again. ED sent summons and asked him to appear on 12 July.
