Supreme Court's strict order to Haryana government to open Shambhu border, know what Supreme Court said about opening Shambhu border…

The Supreme Court has slammed the Narendra Modi government at the Centre as well as the Haryana government for suppressing the demands of the farmers. The court has ordered the opening of the Shambhu border in strict terms.

The Supreme Court ordered the removal of barricades at Shambhu border and reprimanded the Haryana government. The court commented and asked the state government how it could close the highway.

The court said, we are asking to remove the barricades placed at Shambhu border near Ambala and control the traffic.

The Supreme Court made this remark while adjourning the hearing on Haryana's petition against the judicial inquiry into the death of a 22-year-old protester during the farmers' agitation.

The bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuyan gave this direction when the counsel for the Haryana government said that we are in the process of filing an appeal against the July 10 order of the High Court.

Recently, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had ordered to open the Shambhu border by removing the barricades within a week. Farmers have been camping at the Shambhu border since February 13 with their various demands.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have announced a march to Delhi in support of various demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price for crops. Following this, the Haryana government barricaded the Ambala-New Delhi National Highway in February.
