Harpreet Singh arrested: Harpreet Singh, brother of newly elected MP and Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, has been arrested with ice (drugs) in Jalandhar, Punjab. According to information given by sources, the police have recovered 5 grams of drugs from Harpreet Singh.

Jalandhar Rural Police SSP Ankur Gupta has confirmed the arrest of Harpreet Singh. He said that we will soon share more information with the media. We have arrested Harpreet. Amritpal won from Khadoor Sahib seat

Amritpal won the Lok Sabha election from Khadoor Sahib constituency of Punjab. He won by a margin of 197120 votes. Amritpal got 404430 votes. In comparison, Congress' Kulbir Singh Zira got 207310 votes. Amritpal is currently lodged in Assam jail. He contested the election from jail. Amritpal, president of Waris Punjab D Association, was arrested last year under the National Security Act.
