Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have been sharing pictures and videos of their Europe tour on social media. While they were having fun there, they were robbed. It is being reported that their passport, wallet and all the stuff bought during the trip, worth about Rs 10 lakh, have been stolen.
Vivek Dahiya told Times of India that apart from this incident, everything about the trip has been incredible. We reached Florence yesterday and planned to stay for a day. We went to our favourite hotel to stay and left all our luggage in the car parked outside. However, when we returned to collect our luggage, we found that the car had been broken into and passports, wallets, money, all the valuables purchased had been stolen. Luckily, they had left behind some old clothes and food.
The actor immediately approached the local police but did not get any help. The police there dismissed his case and said that they cannot help him without CCTV cameras in the particular area. He also tried to reach the embassy, but unfortunately, it was closed for the day.
Vivek Dahiya further said that there is a small town near Florence, we are staying there. The hoteliers are helping us a lot, but we need help from the embassy. To return to India we need a temporary passport and it can be obtained only with the help of the embassy. Now we don't even have any cash left.
