Yamunanagar, July 11 (HS). During a program organized by BJP in Purana Hamida, hundreds of people from Muslim community extended their support to BJP and joined the party in the presence of chief guest former BJP mayor Madan. Incumbent Madan Chauhan welcomed them into the party by wearing a turban.
In a program organized on Thursday, outgoing mayor Madan Chauhan said that the BJP government has done many works for service, good governance and poor welfare. He said that BJP is a party of all religions, he wants to tell those who say that BJP divides people in the name of religion that previous governments have done politics of discrimination. On this occasion, hundreds of people from Muslim community including Mobeen Ahmed from Purana Hamida, Israr Ali Qurban Rajveer Singh Daud Mehtab Mohammad Ali Akbar joined BJP. Madan Chauhan welcomed them in BJP by wearing a turban and said that they will be given full respect in the party.
He said that the result of the BJP government's thinking of all-round development is that today people's lives have become simpler and they are getting basic facilities at home. Chouhan said that decisions like the resolve to build a self-reliant India, freeing poor women from smoke by giving them gas cylinders under the Ujjwala Yojana, increasing the respect of women by constructing toilets and providing tap water to every home have made people's lives easier.
