Yamunanagar, July 11 (HS). The owners and industrialists of the metal industry expressed their gratitude to the state government as well as Agriculture Minister Kanwar Pal and met the Agriculture Minister after the state government approved setting up an industrial sewerage treatment plant in Jagadhari at a cost of about Rs 99 crore.
Manoj Gupta, District President of Haryana Trade Welfare Board and APS Bhatti, President of Jagadhari Environment Society, told on Thursday that the metal industry had been demanding for a long time that an industrial sewerage treatment plant be set up in Jagadhari. Because there are a lot of metal industries in Jagadhari. The contaminated water that comes out as waste from the metal industry sometimes causes many types of serious problems. The Agriculture Minister took this matter seriously and got this project approved and now its tender has been passed at a cost of about Rs 99 crore.
Haryana Agriculture Minister Kanwar Pal said that the BJP government of the state has always worked to promote development works. Due to development works, today Haryana is a developed state of the country. He said that for the first time in Haryana, this Industrial Sewerage Treatment Plant is being set up in Jagadhari Assembly by the Public Health Engineering Department. He said that the BJP follows the basic mantra of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and gets development works done on priority. He said that the establishment of this Industrial Sewerage Treatment Plant will not only make the environment of Jagadhari clean, but it will also encourage local economic development.
