Giridih, July 11 (HS). Giridih's Cyber police station on Thursday raided several places and succeeded in arresting six criminals. Police have recovered many items including an ATM along with 12 mobiles from the arrested criminals. The arrested criminals include Mitlal Mandal, resident of Nagar Keshwari of Sariya, Chandan Kumar, resident of Ataka of Bagodar, Birendra Mandal, resident of Chunglon of Jamua, Pankaj Mandal, resident of Mahdeya of Bengalabad police station area, Abdul Qayum, resident of Mahjori of Gandey and Kamruddin Ansari, resident of Barmasiya.
Giving information about the modus operandi of the arrested criminals, SP Deepak Kumar Sharma said that all the criminals used to find the numbers of youngsters from Facebook and invite them for online sex, and used fake photos of girls to make nude videos, and used to cheat people by taking screen shots. Not only this, pregnant women were also on the target of these criminals, whom they used to make victims of their fraud. These arrested criminals used to ask for OTP from people by pretending to be employees of the ration distribution department and used to cheat them too.
