A major road accident took place in Kaimur district of Bihar late on Sunday evening. Four artists of Bhojpuri industry have died in this accident. The accident happened near Mohania on the National Highway. According to media reports, Bhojpuri singer Chhotu Pandey's Scorpio bike overturned while trying to save the rider. The accident on the National Highway in Kaimur was so severe that all nine people died on the spot. According to reports, the deceased include Buxar-based Bhojpuri singer Chhotu Pandey, his nephew Anu Pandey, lyricist Satya Prakash Mishra Bairagi, Varanasi-based actresses Simran Srivastava and Aanchal Tiwari. All of them were popular actors of Bhojpuri film industry. There is a wave of mourning in Bhojpuri industry after his death.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem
After the incident, there was a long jam on NH 2, after which the police reached the spot, cleared the jam and started the movement of vehicles. All the bodies have been sent to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. After the postmortem, the police have informed all the family members.
