Jaipur, July 11 (HS). Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar said in the assembly on Thursday that the work of electricity distribution in the assembly constituency Bikaner West is being done by Electric Supply Limited Franchise Company on PPP model since May 16, 2017. The company has already been given notice regarding the disruption in power supply.
Nagar was responding to the matter raised in this regard by Bikaner West MLA Jethananand Vyas through a slip during zero hour. He said that if the company is not working properly, then a committee will definitely be formed to investigate all the cases of the shortcomings.
He assured the House that if the company has not developed its infrastructure till now, action will be taken against the company. Any irregularities found at the four places where the company is working, Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur and Bikaner, will be stopped and necessary action will be taken as per the rules.
