Mumbai: Despite being a trainee IAS officer, he used to go around with Maharashtra government plates and red beacon on his personal car and vandalize the chamber of the additional collector in his absence and demand government cars, staff, security even though he was not eligible. Pooja Khedekar, who turned the whole system upside down, was still on probation, finally she has been transferred from Pune to Washim. Pooja Khedekar, who got All India 821st rank in UPSC, was appointed to the post of 80 in Pune. Appointed on probation as collector. Now she is supernumerary assistant in Washim district. She has been sent as collector.
Pooja Khedekar should not have troubled the entire system by making such demands which are not worthy of her position. Due to this, the government staff of the entire district went on strike. Finally, the Pune Collector informed the Chief Secretary of the state about the entire matter. Due to which Pooja Khedekar has been replaced.
Pooja Khedekar used red-blue lights and VIP number plates on her personal luxury car. Her personal Audi car also had Maharashtra government plates. Pooja demanded a government car with VIP number plates, a house to live in, an office with adequate staff and a constable.
As per rules, the above facilities are not given to the trainee officer. The benefit of the above facilities can be availed by the trainee officer only after being appointed as a gazetted officer.
Also, when Additional Collector Ajay Moyar went out of Pune, Puja Khedekar took over his cell. She also put up a board with her name there. Furniture including chairs, sofa, tables were removed from her office by Khedekar without the permission of the Additional Collector. Puja left an order for the employees to provide her with letterheads, visiting cards, government seal and other facilities including intercom.
Dilip Khedekar, a retired administrative officer and Puja's father, reportedly put pressure on the collector's office to meet Puja's demands. Dilip Khedekar is said to have warned the officials of dire consequences if they did not comply.
