Jaipur, July 10 (HS). The Special Investigation Wing (SIW) of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Headquarters took action late Wednesday night and arrested Himanshu Mudgal, Junior Assistant of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Subdivision-II Sanganeer Jaipur while accepting a bribe of twenty thousand rupees from the complainant.
Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General of Police, Dr. Ravi Prakash Meharada informed that the complainant lodged a complaint with the ACB's Special Investigation Wing (SI W) Jaipur that in lieu of getting the files for water connection passed, Junior Assistant Himanshu Mudgal is demanding a bribe of Rs. 20,000 at the rate of Rs. 100 per file.
On which, under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police, Jaipur, Lalit Kishore Sharma, the Special Investigation Wing (SIW) of ACB verified the complaint and took action of trap and arrested Himanshu Mudgal, Junior Assistant of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) while accepting a bribe of twenty thousand rupees. It is noteworthy that the accused junior assistant himself came to the shop of the complainant to take the bribe and was caught by the ACB team.
