Ranchi, July 10 (HS). Testimony was recorded in the PMLA court on Wednesday in the case related to suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, who is in jail on charges of money laundering in the MNREGA scam. Testimony of the then ED Deputy Director Subodh Kumar was recorded on behalf of the ED. After the completion of the testimony, cross-examination was also done by the defense. In the testimony, the court was told about how money laundering was done.
The ED has presented more than 13 witnesses in the case so far. Earlier, the testimony of Pantjali Mishra was recorded. During the testimony, Pooja Singhal, who is in jail, appeared through video conferencing. The court has fixed the date of next hearing as July 12. Pooja Singhal has been in jail since May 25, 2022.
