Dhanbad, July 10 (HS). Candidates who applied against the vacancy of the post of District Project Officer (DPO) under the National Clean Ganga Mission were interviewed in the auditorium room located in the District Collectorate on Wednesday. District Forest Division Officer Vikas Paliwal, Deputy Development Commissioner Sadat Anwar, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Prasun Kaushik, Communication and Social Management Manager Anjana Bharti, Executive Engineer of PHED-2 Bhikharam Bhagat were present on the occasion.
The DFO and other officials took detailed information from the candidates interviewed about their educational, training and work experience. A total of 22 candidates took part in the interview, who were interviewed sequentially by the team. It is worth mentioning that under the National Clean Ganga Mission, programs are organized throughout the year to clean the Damodar river passing through Dhanbad district and to create awareness among the general public about keeping the rivers and other nearby water sources clean.
To conduct and monitor effective programs under the scheme, applications were recently invited by the district administration for appointment on contract basis to the post of District Project Officer (DPO) National Clean Ganga Mission, in which 28 candidates were called for interview on 10 July 2024 after scrutiny. 06 candidates were absent in the interview. A total of 22 candidates participated in the interview.
