In a letter sent to the Commissioner by Municipal Corporation Contractor Association President Aslam Khan, the allegation that the Superintending Engineer has said that he will give 4% of the amount to the government officials is completely baseless and fabricated. Giving information on Wednesday, Corporation's Superintending Engineer MK Verma said that Aslam Khan neither met him nor did they have any discussion, yet he has made baseless allegations.
On making such baseless allegations, the corporation will be forced to take necessary legal action against them. It is noteworthy that regarding the payment of pending dues of infrastructure development item, at present bills of about one crore 81 lakh rupees are pending for payment, in this regard a request letter has been sent to the government along with the utility certificate for providing the amount, as soon as the amount is received from the government, these pending bills will be paid as per rules.
