Delay in release of Sabarmati Report and change of director

Mumbai: The release of the film 'The Sabarmati Report' starring actors like Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra has been postponed, but the director of the already completed film has also changed. Now some scenes of the film will be shot by Tushar Hiranandani.

So far, the entire film has been produced by Ranjan Chandel. But, for some reason, filmmaker Ekta Kapoor did not entrust him with the responsibility of reshoots. Instead, Tushar Hiranandani, director of Rajkummar Rao's recently released 'Srikanth', has been asked to reshoot some scenes.

According to the buzz, Ekta insisted on reshooting some scenes of the film. But Ranjan Chandel refused saying that there is no need for that. Finally, Ekta has decided to go ahead with a new shoot with a new director. This film was to be released before the Lok Sabha elections. But, the release was postponed to avoid political controversy. After that, it was announced to be released on August 2 but now the release on that date has also been postponed.
