Why do people who travel well die? Scientists have found the reason for this.

You must have heard many such incidents where someone dies while dancing, or dies of a sudden heart attack while sitting. Many celebrities also had heart attacks while going to the gym and said goodbye to the world. According to some reports, Corona These cases have increased suddenly after a long time, although nothing is clear about this. Actually, the answer to this question has now been found by the Cardiological Society of India. Not only this, the society has also issued guidelines for India for the first time, so that people can become aware about this.

Lipid guidelines have been issued recently by the Cardiological Society of India. JPS Sahni, Chairman of Lipid Guidelines and Director of Cardiology Department at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, said that heart attack is often caused by diabetes, high blood pressure, stress, tobacco consumption etc. But in contrast, dyslipidemia seems to be the most responsible for heart attack in India. That is, the lipid profile which is not normal in 80 percent of the people of India and neither do people know about it.

It causes 50 percent of heart attacks

Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, co-author of the guidelines and professor of cardiology at AIIMS New Delhi, said that it has been observed that 50 percent of heart attacks are happening due to dyslipidemia or lipid profile. When patients are examined after a heart attack, it is seen that their lipid profile is not normal and neither has it ever been tested. Due to this, the patient does not know anything about it.

What is a lipid profile?

Dr. Ashwini Mehta, cardiologist at Gangaram Hospital, said that lipid profile includes total cholesterol. If you have high cholesterol in your body, you are at a higher risk of heart attack, no matter what your age is. Lipid profile includes these 5 things, good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, non-HDL cholesterol, lipoproteins and triglycerides.

Cholesterol testing is very important

Dr. Ramakrishnan says that if someone wants to avoid a heart attack, it is very important for everyone to get their cholesterol or lipid profile checked at least once. Every person above the age of 40 should get this test done. Also, if someone in your family has had a heart attack or it is a genetic disease, then lipid profile should be checked immediately at any age.

What do the guidelines say about cholesterol?

Dr. Sahni and Dr. Mehta say that for the first time, comprehensive information has been provided to control dyslipidemia in the guidelines prepared by CSI for India. Not only doctors but every common man should be aware of his BP, diabetes as well as cholesterol in the body. Everyone should know what their cholesterol level is. If it is unbalanced, not according to the standards, then he should consult a doctor and take medicine.

Unlike other guidelines in the world, the guidelines have also been modified specifically to suit the people of India. Its international standard has been increased from 115 to 100. Also, people in the high risk group for heart attack should have an LDL of less than 55. While for those with a moderate risk, an amount of less than 100 will be sufficient. Therefore, for the first time it has been decided that the lipid profile is different for every person and people should protect themselves accordingly.

Do not be careless in taking medicines

Dr. Ramakrishnan says that it is often seen that even after knowing about cholesterol, people shy away from taking medicines. Whereas this should not happen. Whatever medicines the doctor prescribes, they should be taken. The guidelines are clear that both stanine and non-stanine medicines are effective in maintaining the lipid profile.
