If a child gets a fever of more than 102 degrees Fahrenheit with symptoms of dehydration, consult a doctor immediately. Also, if there is blood or pus in the stool, seek medical treatment immediately. If there are symptoms of diarrhea in children, doctors recommend treatment in the following ways-

To treat diarrhea, the doctor may recommend that the child take antibiotics or antiviral medications.
To treat diarrhea, doctors recommend a more fluid diet. This requires replenishment of electrolytes.
Oral rehydration solution can also be given along with water on the advice of the doctor.

Safe Home Remedies to Treat Diarrhea
Give your child banana and yogurt when diarrhea occurs. A mixture of banana and yogurt helps stop diarrhea and maintain energy in the body.
Giving fennel water to the child also cures the problem of diarrhea. Boil fennel in water. Then cool this water and give it to the child.

Feeding the child toast mixed with banana also stops the problem of diarrhoea.

In case of diarrhea, keep giving salt and sugar water or coconut water to the child. Remember to use only fresh coconut water.

Don't make these mistakes when your child has diarrhea
