Jind, July 9 (HS). Shopkeeper Mahendra Khapad, who was suffering from diseases like high blood pressure, weight gain, lung failure and other diseases, started practicing yoga after watching yoga guru Ramdev's yoga on TV. After his disease was cured by yoga, he became so passionate about inspiring people to practice yoga that now he is teaching yoga to more than 70 yoga practitioners in the Arya Samaj campus. The yoga teaching started in 2014 is continuing uninterrupted.
Giving information here on Tuesday, Mahendra Khapad said that he was 90 kgs in weight along with BP problem. He was suffering from cough due to bad lungs. When he saw yoga guru Ramdev teaching yoga on TV, his disease started getting cured by doing yoga. When he started teaching yoga to people in the backward Dharamshala of the city in 2014, only around 10 people used to come to do yoga. Continuing this initiative, he continuously conducted yoga camps in Hanuman Mandir Dharamshala, Om Shanti Bhawan, Jain Sthanak located on Litani Road. Now for many months, he has been teaching yoga in Arya Samaj premises and Lala Prabhudayal Chaudhary Dharamshala. Now Sunny Advocate, Sachin, Mohit Kakarod, Ashu are also teaching yoga with him. Khapad said that for many months, people's interest in yoga has increased. Every day around 70 yoga practitioners come to do yoga in the morning.
The number of women is the highest. Every disease is being cured by yoga. Yoga is such a method that every disease can be cured by doing it regularly. Apart from diseases, mental problems also get cured by yoga. Through yoga, people are given the message of staying healthy. The trend of people towards yoga is constantly increasing and the small effort that was started seems to be successful.
